In our last 4 home Primetime games (2005-2006)

we are 1-3 including 0-1 on Monday nigh

and our lone win being this year on sunday night vs the skins.

and dating back to 2004

we are 2-4, and 0-2 on Monday night

here's to hope some of that road monday night magic comes to town

No runningback ever won a Super Bowl when he won the rushing title.

I hope Emmitt, Michael, and Troy can change this history.

But we one 3 superbowls in the 90s. Surely that's a good sign, right?

Oh wait, neither statistic has any bearing on this game. :)

This year we're 1-0, and the Giants have lost like 7 out of 8 to us on Monday night, or something like that.

Basically, it's all irrelevent.

That's a HUGE PROBLEM.

The team just ought to save the airfare and not go to the game.

Clearly with an unresolvable problem like that playing the game is a waste of everyone's time.

You can make these jokes all you want, but the bottom line is when the lights have been on, when we're at home, we choke. We finally won this year hopefully that a sign of things to change, am i saying the game is over no, but it's not like we always handle our buisness at home

I'm more worried about our defense defending the run to the strongside. I'm more worried about whether or not they'll open up the defensive playbook to get pressure on Eli and make him resort to his bad mechanics.

One of the games in mention was the Rams game, something I'd hardly count as a "Primetime" game. Beat Philly on MNF and beat Washington in week 2 on Sunday Night.

I just don't think those things really add up in this case.

The bottom line is that the game still has to be played. No body expected Houston to b-slap the Jags. No one really expected the Fecals to lose to the Bucs and no one really expected it to be by a 63 yard field goal!

It's why the games are played.

Tonight I expect a great game full of ups and downs for both teams. Both Dallas and the Giants are playing at a very inconsistent level and I don't expect that to change. I won't even dare attempt to pick a winner as inconsistency blurs the line. Whoever exploits the other teams mistakes when it counts will win tonight.

phew...i though you were going to say something like you had to write a 600 word essay, we would REALLY be in trouble then. ;)

nah unlike my college freinds, i dont have english, so im saved from writing any papers ;)

Man, get out of here with that negative energy. You're killing my Monday night buzz.

The Cowboys should come out tonight and make a statement. To anyone going to the game, BE LOUD! You CAN make a difference in the game.

Hey Draggon,

I agree that these things can mean something but in this case, I don't really think it matters. I see this team as a parting from the ways of the recent past. At least, I hope that is the case with this team. Those stats were compliled by teams who have not been very good. If those stats say anything, it's probably that bad teams tend to lose games against better teams. Good teams win games they have to win. I hope that this is a different team. By that, I mean, I hope we are a good team.

Kind of an oxymoron wouldn't you say? Generally a oxymoron that means, one of the two statements is true and the other one is a manufactured statement used to protect ones web of deception.

Like say say. One cliche deserves another: "What a wicked web we weave when first we practice to deceive"

Statistics and liars are like oil and water; they don't mix. Unaltered statistics are a liars worst enemy.

Past performance is neither an indication of future success or failure
