Our Offensive Line just isn't that good. I know Romo could have played better no doubt, we don't have MBIII & Felix, the WRs seem too be struggling getting seperation, heck even Garrett might me at fault.....................BUT
_________________________________________________________________
Romo is running for his life on every single play. We all no Proctor sucks, but our center seems lost, BOTH our guards including Davis is really struggling with BTILZ PICK UP(hasn't be as good as he was last year!) Flozell well I don't need to say more Flozell is probably our most frustrating player. BUT, again BOTTOM LINE Romo is running for his life on every play and until we fix this we have major problems here. This isn't a matter of us not having a back up guard out of the line up; I just don't think this line isn't that good or it's vastly overrated. Ahhh got it of my chest.

How about that defense

That offensive line is way overrated or they really missed Holland/Kosier.

We Did Play A Great Defense

I understand we played a great D and we are missing Kosier/Holland.

BUT it seems like Romo is running for his live on virtually every single play. This isn't a 1 night first time deal here, this O-Line BLOWS. Go back to Bledsoe and Johnson when we don't have a mobile QB we can't do jack. Romo wasn't great, but I feel the major issue here is the OVERRATED O-LINE

This, if true, is a MAJOR problem.

Problem is, I think flozell is the weak link, mentally

If we get Kosier back and replace flo, then we could be good.

Problem is, we just signed Flo to a huge contract and we got no backup

Davis, kosier, gurode, culombo are ok

It's hard to argue Adams is a MAJOR problem. Like I said and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure this out, Romo is running for his life on every play in pretty much every game. THIS IS A MAJOR PROBLEM!

We apparently have many issues, but OL is starting to stand out as one that we didnt think we really had. Yes, we miss Kosier, last years whipping boy, but the bottom line is THEY as a group have underacheived big time. Game after game, breakdowns, basic comunication results in Romo hurrying a throw of a run play being stuffed....Snaps that float or are snapped before everyone else is set, guys just plain whiffing or worse yet watching, no it appears to know who to block???? A strenght that has been a weakness all year to a large degree...

Phil Simms just said this is our biggest issue, he said he hasn't seen a QB on the run as much as Romo was last night.

I think our offensive line has sucked all season.
I think Tony Romo is starting to voice some frustration with them in his post game comments. He mentioned "protection" several times last night.
TO has mentioned the QB doesnt have time to get him the ball.
It is a very serious problem. The biggest reason is that we have lots of money tied up in that position and are stuck with this group for a long time. We dont have a 1st round pick to fix the line. We cant afford to overpay free agents to fix it..... hmmm..... what is a solution to their play? Is it mental mistakes?

Well i am afraid it falls on our offensive coordinator. We cant fix stupid. And if our line is lazy, stupid, or just suck physically we need to protect them from exposure. I dont think garrett has been flexible with his game planning enough to protect our line play.
Why send everyone out on deep patterns when our QB will be running for his life. Add the fact that our receivers are upset because they are not getting the ball. It forces Romo into bad decisions. You put any QB under enough pressure enough times and make him feel like he has to create wonders and mistakes will happen.
I dont blame Romo at all. Just like i dont blame Barber for less than 4 yards per carry, or TO for less than 1000 yards, or RW for less than well any yards.
We have receivers that are big and physical. They need to used like that. We have a RB that is big and physical. He needs to be used like that. We have a big physical TE.

I know it starts with the OL. Their play has been awful. Its brains, heart, and motivation all together. Our line might need a nasty leader to be brought in that holds people accountable for the mistakes. Or maybe a coach that calls them out for their mistakes.

We miss Kosier, yes, but Choice got 90 yards last night on just 17 carries. I think part of our problem isn't just them it's Garrett not allowing us to run the ball enough, in the 4th quarter of games, when those guys sheer size should allow them to impose their will on people.

Garrett just gets way to pass happy at times and it shows. Choice was making plays in the running game and instead of getting around 25 carries, like a lead back should against a defense like that, they gave him 17.

Glad there are others that feel similarly to me: this team is so underachieving it's sickening. BUT, it all starts with the Oline. BEginning, middle and end.

The O line is the area I would like to see us Address in the Draft or a least a Vet FA for Depth, there doesn't seem to be any Confidence in McQuistan, Free, Berger or Proctor.
