Does it work best with a speed back like Felix was? Maybe we'll see it more if Dunbar learns to hold on to the ball.. I feel like Murray is so slow it would turn the draw into a bust.

Sad thing is Murray's first Td of his career was 80 yard Td on the very play I am talking about . Sad how fast RB's slow down .

I was wondering the same thing, we went from obsessed with draws to never running any of them.

You do know that Murray was extremely effective running that play too right?

For the love of God , when the heck will we successfully execute a screen to beat the blitz, or a 3 step slant which goes long?

Where is that beauty of a play ?romo takes the snap drops back looking downfield like a pass and he hands it off . That play was bread and butter for us . It use to be highly effective where and why has that play vanished ? I've seen us dominate using that play !

A play that works consistently?

We'll have none of that, thank you.

I have been hungering for some counters, delayed counters and some backside delay runs for a while. McCoy KILLS on these runs and I think McCoy and Murray are very similar in their styles. Though McCoy is a little more shifty.

McCoy is a LOT more shifty. And fast. And better vision.

If it works, JG stops using it. He would rather try something different to prove that he is smarter than everyone else. Something different like having your receivers run a 1 yard routes when it's 3rd and 8.

Amazing how fast a run play thread gets audibled into a passing thread! Almost game-like!

Although it was our bread and butter before, Garrett got rid of it probably. He prefers very vanilla types of plays that doesn't fool defenses and are easily defended.
