Guyton: "I didn't do good last season."

...for heavens sake, the guy was ROOK. I thought he did well.

He was thrown into the big league with Pee Wee batting helmet.

He's gonna be great player for Dallas.

Guyton still may end up being a pretty good player in the NFL, but I'm not sure we were watching the same games last year. He wasn't even close to "did well"
..... I saw several plays when in right position, his opponent went no where.

Of course, he looked lost lots. But the flashes were there.

Yeah but according to genius football men Jones’ theory, a first round pick is a guaranteed immediate impact starter. Even at pick 27.

Left tackle nonetheless. Lol. Didn’t even play there in school. But hey can’t really argue with a hall of famer billionaire who is smarter than everyone right?

Guyton isn’t atypical. Got his hands on a few dollars and stopped working hard at a time when you have to work harder than you ever had to. Many have that problem, which is why you can’t count on rookies the way this team does.

Some guys want to win. Some want to party and be celebrities….just like their 83 year old leader.

He should become Tyler Bookers Gym Buddy. His core strength is not good. I know this because mine sucks..

3rd day in a row good news comes out about him. 4th day in a row I've said he will be show big time improvement this year. New diet. Weight room every day. Better coaches. A year experience.
Listening to team at DLLS talking about this now.

It really is encouraging to hear him stand there in front of cameras and take accountability and he's already put positive changes in action learning and developing new habits. And he took all this upon himself. We have to remember he's a very young man. He's finding his way in life as well as what it takes to be a professional football player.

Maybe Tyler Smith is what you meant.
Tyler Booker is/was an epic fail at both the weight and combine drills. Only 21 bench press reps.
Ranking last in almost all of them.
Booker is not what you would call the best workout warrior example.
More along the lines of a gamer.

Guyton is typical of the very gifted athlete who was able to get to where he was a first rd pick in the NFL draft without ever having to really bear down on the nitty gritty.
Can he get it and do it?
SURE

Will he?
we shall see

Good for him. I want players to make a commitment to improvement. Changing a diet from delicious fast food and fried food is not easy. The temptation to go back is always there.

But I think it all depends on Guyton's commitment in the weight room. He needs to improve his upper body strength IMO. If he does that I think he can be very successful. Asking him to be another Tyron Smith is asking a lot. But he could be Flozell Adams.

Well, this is a good start.......accountability. As stated in another thread, he had no clue about being a professional NFL player.

Of yourse you didnt do good. In fact you were bad. I mean really bad.

Now to say you change your approach is just ridiculous. First round pick that was known to be raw and needs a lot of work lacks the right attitude?

Get outta here. You have no talent. Thats it. Stop talking rubbish. You spent too much time with Dak and those other losers.

Another first round pick this crappy FO wasted. No wonders this franchise is so bad.
