To be fair I think he always looks good in camp. It’s when the opposing teams come in.

Yeah. Why do our guys always have to play against other teams? That's really not fair. Kids dont get Ds and Fs on report cards any more....they just get A+'so, A's, or A-minuses. Anything else would hurt their feelings and infringe on their safe space.

Our players should be judged based on training camp.....or paintball, or shadow boxing. Not (finger quotes) whether they can "beat other teams". That's soooOOOOooooOOOOoooo microagressive

Guyton does look good he stone walled EZE and kept him from getting to Dak . He also made a nice block on Overshown up the middle of the field, on a running play. Guyton looks sharp.

Eze. Boy....when an OTackle can keep HIM from getting a sack...Anthony Munoz better watch out.

Guyton has always had his moments where he looks good, even in games. But every time it seems like he's starting to settle in, he gets hurt or regresses.

If he can turn it around and even be a serviceable option this line will be in tremendous shape.

As long as he can stay healthy and continue to develop he will be fine. If he misses another 4-5 games this year it’s probably time to move on

Absolutely. Guyton is a very gifted player. The issue isn’t what he can do, it’s the frequency in which he actually does it.

Wow, Steele must really be doing a dumpster turnstile performance with all the reports of dline praise and Guyton, on the other hand, just must be this great wall of pitching shutouts to all his trench opponents.

But seriously, in the first real game, Thibodeaux, Burns and Carter don't stand a chance against these 2 offensive tackle force fields of dominance.

My comparison to Guyton is the offensive tackle NYG project failure thus far that is Evan Neal, the 7th overall pick.

If you watch Neal OR Guyton for any sustained length of time you will notice a fundamental balance issue in both players.
Both of them are tall guys at 6'7" and they give off the same impression when you see a new born animal is born and hasn't quite mastered its legs being underneath it yet.

You would think their age, athleticism and profession would have allowed their awkwardness/balance obstacle to have been overcome by now.

The problem is it still hasnt happened for either player.
And I don't think it ever will.

The few short clips of Guyton i saw he looked fast, and under control. Waiting to hear how he held up in mondays padded practice. Im holding out hope for this young man.

Guyton is the key to the offense. Potentially our best offensive linemen. I think his biggest problem was staying healthy. Sadly he seems to have a hard time playing injured.

Not sure about potentially best OL, Booker and Smith I think are vying for that title but Guyton doesn’t have to be the best, he has to be decent to good and the offense should hummmm. Avoiding injury is always a big issue for everyone but especially seems to be with him.
