Guyton looks good

Is this from last season or something you have seen from this years camp?

Nice point about having to think while playing. It’s gotta become second nature before all that long or it’s never gonna happen.
This is from what I saw on broadcast last season. I've got no idea what Guyton has been up to in camp.

Works hard?

His first season he was benched for not taking anything seriously and not working hard.

Do you guys think before you post?
I only sit behind a computer and read sports reporters comments what I read about Guyton what is he was a hard worker he tried but injuries was his problem. If you have trouble with that take it up with the sports reporters

Looking forward to tomorrows scrimmage and see how Guyton matches up with Garrett....Something tells me Guyton is gonna surprise some people tomorrow....Or it's gonna be pannickville around here.

Hope so.

Really don’t have any options at LT.

Same ones that said Elam and Murray were having a great camp last season?

Sure thing.

As expected.

Guyton was a very raw player. Generally raw players break out around their 3rd year. He is exactly in line w/ what should have been expected of him.
Buy the time he went down he had been consistently playing at a league average LT for 4 or so games. Im not as concerned about his play on the field than I am his health

3rd year. Was a developemental project when he was drafted. Year 3 sounds about right for the timing to be right for him to become that player we all hoped for. He was looking good last year in camp until he was tweaked by injury.
The key for him is stay healthy. Can’t get better watching

Smith is a better tackle than Guyton is. They just don’t want to move him because he’s a 8/10 at tackle and 10/10 at guard. Larry Allen part 2
I wouldn’t say Allen #2, Allen was one of a kind, mutant. I’ve never seen a guard like him, ever. Tyler isn’t on his level. Zach Martin wasn’t on his level either.

It cannot be repeated enough as regards just how RAW guyton was
He had been a DL then converted in his last year to Tackle
So he's on the Lane Johnson trajectory. Johnson switched from DL to OL his senior year. Johnson gave up 10 sacks in his rookie year but has given up only 11 total since. Maybe it's coincidence, but that's when Jeff Stoutland really started working him.

So perhaps there is a chance Guyton can be our Lane Johnson.
