1) we overestimated him with the signing
2) he clearly did not perform well in camp, so we didn't keep him just to save face.

While this is surprising where we r now based upon when we signed him....his camp play has sucked. More importantly it’s a good sign that MM won’t be sentimental and keep guys on the roster that don’t earn their spot- even if there’s a prior relationship.

Agree. They can pump his tires all they want but we all know he aint cutting it as a starter. They are either signing Earl or Tony Jefferson.
