I do this really annoying thing…I go to the grocery store and leave my cell phone in my pocket and do not stop and block aisles while on my phone…I’m rare and annoying that way. I also park between the lines in the parking lot. I’m sure I have annoyed many.

You probably put the shopping carts in the collection area too.

When I am in my car. I have to wipe down the dash regularly. I cannot stand if there is any dust on the dash of the car. Cannot stand it.

every time I get in a car before I start driving I gotta wipe it down.

One thing I do, and it drives my wife bonkers is when I pull my clothes out of the dryer and I randomly hang them up or fold them and put them away in the drawers, I cannot, and I mean I cannot, take them out of order after that. Yeah, I put them away randomly, but once they're in their "place" they are now in order of how I'm going to wear them Underwear/shirts/pants/shorts/socks...it doesn't matter I do not skip what's next. It's my way of ensuring everything gets worn evenly. It also helps my clothes matches everything so I don't have to think about if this shirt matches this pair of pants, or something like that.

I have to have all the vents in my vehicle dashboard lined up all the same. If one is pointed in an opposite direction it drives me crazy. My friends used to mess with me and just lean in and change the direction of one every now and again. lol

Back during the CD case days, I had all my CDs organized by artists with their album's in sequential order of their release dates, oldest to newest. Again, my friends would purposely mess with me and put CDs back in the wrong place. lol

When I had albums, and this transferred to CD's when I began to convert, I categorized the music and this drove my wife nuts when I'd be out of town. It wasn't enough to just do genre, I had to go into sub genre for Rock into Art, Hard, Soft and Metal and do the same for Jazz. I had over 4,000 in the collection because they inventoried them for an estate sale after I sold my house. I always wanted to go to the genre first, then select. I do the same with DVD/BluRay's because I could spend more time perusing the collection than the time it took to watch a movie because I'd slide each one of interest out for "consideration" before making a final decision. Hell, I wouldn't have lived with me.

I reminded myself of Daniel Stern's character in "Diner" when he goes off on his wife for not knowing what goes into certain genres. The last time we watched that, I could feel her eyes burning into me.

I can't stand a few things.

I hate it when a food service person continuously asks if everything is OK. I get it when they ask initially, maybe come by to fill drinks and ask, but I hate the every 5 minutes thing. Hate it.

But, on the other hand, I hate it when they don't back at all. Sit you, a busser or service back brings you food and you never see your wait person at all. Hate it. I hardly ever skip a tip but I will if that happens. I will slip a tip to the people giving us service in cash but I won't tip on the tab.

But if the service is good, if the wait person is working, I'll tip 30% and usually, the tab is at least a couple hundred bucks because there are usually 8 to 10 or more, and that's some work. So I will tip big for good service.

If the food is bad but the service is good, I'll still tip well but I just won't go back. On the other hand, if the Food is good but the Service is terrible, I won't tip because tip is directly related to service and the quality of the food is already paid for on the tab. I can curb order or get it delivered if I want to so if I decide to go and sit, that's a service provided, to me and I will pay for good service. I won't pay for bad service.

I guess I'm kind of a jackarse about that kind of stuff.

Both of my sons were in food service when going to school so it's a karma thing, I always tip but at the customary 15% but I will pull them aside and explain why, spent too many years in training. Hell, I'd try and give some tips to the Boy Scouts selling that awful popcorn door to door or World's Finest candy bars.

I also do that if the service was really good and do 30% as you do but I would compliment them at the table and let them know why I was doing that.

The best trained wait staff I ever saw was at Commanders Palace in New Orleans. They were invisible until you needed something and they anticipated needs and never interrupted conversation at the table or asked diners questions after they'd just taken a bite or refill the tea without asking first. It was a reflection of the owner and this was a woman that hired Paul Prudhomme and Emeril Lagasse in two hour phone interviews, unbelievable.

I go alphabetical, by artist, then album name (or number, as in Led Zeppelin 1, 2, 3, and 4, then alphabetical after that).

Best service I ever had was at Abuelita's here in Bernalillo NM. It's a family owned Restaurant, breakfast and lunch mostly. We went in, sat for 45 minutes before we even got service, and then the food came out cold and we never got chips and salsa or even water. Just my Wife and my Daughter and the Boys and I. We got up and I was just going to pay for the drinks, nobody touched the food so I wouldn't pay for it. So I was explaining this to the cashier and she was younger, kinda didn't know what to do I think, when a little old Lady came round the corner with an apron on. She asked in Spanish what was going on. She wasn't speaking to me, she was speaking to the cashier but I answered her and she walked over and looked at the ticket and asked me, directly what happened. I told her. I said we just got our food, it's all cold and it took 45 minutes for us to place an order to begin with. She called our wait person over, asked why so long, said that she knew she had gotten that food up 20 minutes ago. She, if you had not already deduced, was the Abuela, which means Grandma in English, and she also still did the cooking. End of story, she sent the wait person home, she asked us to sit back down and give them another chance. We did that, she picked up a pen and a pad, she took all of our orders, she brought all of our drinks fresh, she brought the Chips and Salsa, she brought the Boys Churros, she went back and cooked it all, she brought it all out, she came out pulled up a chair and order us both Coffee and she apologized for her Granddaughters lack of manners and poor service and she would not let us pay.

That is not the kind of service you might find at a high end Restaurant but it's the kind that that little Restaurant owner understood and knew that she needed to address and she did it at point of fact and personally. Best service I ever got.
