Had we picked Singletary as our coach before

we would've had this division locked for years to come. This team has a lot of talent but missing a heart beat. Watching the 49ers play is totally night and day from watching the Cowboys. Their whole defense swarms to the ball like animals and the offense, while not talented, plays with a fire. Not picking up Singletary was our biggest mistake in years. Wade needs to fire himself, that gutless lame duck coach.

Quit playing what if with these type of coaches. Singleterry and that type of coaches can't be bothered or interfered with by the owner. That will never happen here. Jerry has to meddle in everything, and if a player doesn't like something Wade said or did all he has to do is go to Jerry and he will override the coaching staff.

Start looking for another pantsy as a coach.

They went into Minny and played without their best offensive player and lost on a miracle lucky bomb by Brett Favre. They had that game in the bag until the last seconds. But I am not talking about how good they are or not, I am more speaking about the fire in that team.

Thats why I have been saying for few years now, Jerry Jones, the GM should be gone, i.e. the one who selects the coaches. He said, after Singletary interview, he was the most impressive interview, yet because he wasn't a DC or probably could show a 3-4 DC he knew, that Jerry thought was good, Jerry went with Wade.

We can all whine and cry about this coach and that Coach, I have come to conclusion, Cowboys will never amount to anything with Jerry as GM. Jerry as the Owner is the best or one of the best. But JErry the GM, especially one selecting HC is the worst in NFL or rather one of the worst. He just lucked into Jimmy I think. Its been downhill since and I don't see any end to this either.

Shanahan should be brought in. I don't want a coach who has lost his desire and fire to coach and that is what it looks like to me when I see Cowher. I just don't like hiring coaches who have been away the game 3-4 years. Shanahan still has that hunger to coach again.

On Fox's pregame show today they talked about this very thing with Dan Snyder. Jerry is just as bad. No doubt he wants to win, but it ain't gonna happen with him making one bonehead decision after another while he plays fantasy GM.

I'm with you 100% Cal and Tro: I've said it many times on here too, as have others: it's no secret: when JJ dies, hopefully stephen brings in football men. real, bonafide football men. But I doubt it: the nut usually doesn's fall far from the tree.
