Haha. Anyone See This? is Tyrone doing here?

Damn and that was going to be a completion too that guy was wide open.....Offensive line just has these mistakes at the wrong time.....and why does it feel like they are being more penalized now that Conner isn't starting?

Dak's fault.

Funny thing is it might actually be but none of us will know without knowing the play design.

It looked like a quick pass to Gallup in the flat and Tyron blocked the play like it was.

Instead Dak pumped and then wanted to go upfield like he saw something.

Tyron blocked in a way that makes you think the ball was coming out quick.

Leaving the man on the edge and protecting the inside makes sense for a scheme that is designed for the ball to come out fast.

So really only the coaches and players know what went wrong here.

I doubt they had it drawn up so the DE could get directly to the qb without as much as being chipped. The blind side at that. However, there was clearly some miscommunication. To me it looked like he expected McGovern to go underneath and hold off the DE. If it was the scenario you're thinking of it's a pretty risky play when the target isn't open, because you have zero time to make another read and react.

On quick plays they will leave the end man on the LOS.

We just don’t know what was supposed to happen on this play and never will unless they come out and tell us.

The fact Gallup looked like he was ready for the bubble pass and Dak pumped and looked up field leaves the door open for Tyron Smith to not be in the wrong and that play was supposed to be a snap and throw play.

He looked covered from what I saw. It also looked like he was running into the coverage. That said I'd need a better view to follow that logic. Maybe with the all 22 we'd have a better idea of what was actually supposed to happen.

I see ZERO reason for Tyrone to do what he did. It makes absolute ZERO sense from how the defensive players are lined up. There’s no reason for him to believe that McGovern would block the end while Tyrone goes behind him to block his man who is already being blocked by the center. He literally guarded no one, let the DE run free to the QB who was even surprised by it as his stutter step showed, and practically blocked his own teammate. Total clown play.

The worst timing
False starts are generally a lack of discipline
Holdings are generally because you are getting beat on the play
I get holding if it saves your QB but we get way to many
Imagine what this offense could be if we was average on penalties

:lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao::lmao::lmao:

ONLY YOU would try to make us some kind of pathetic excuse as to why Smith didnt do anything wrong.

But Dak with 375, 2 TD's, zero picks and a 106 QB rating had a bad game right?
