Being competitive and losing and being non-competitive and losing gets you the same result: A LOSS. Who cares if they were competitive. They didn't win the game because their qb and running back especially made mistakes at the worst possible time.Maikeru-sama;3262204 said:At least Jared Allen's team was competitive in their last game and actually showed that they wanted it just as bad as the Saints.
Can't say the same thing for us.
A guy like Jared Allen would always be welcomed in Dallas.

Being competitive in the Conference Championship Game is something your team can build upon for the following Season.
Being blown out in the Divisional Game, not so much.

Their super-star RB put the ball on the ground just about every time he touched it and had to be taken out of the game. These aren't the things you and Tavaris Jackson use to build on in 2010.

Being competitive in a Conference championship means doodly squat ok. Ask the Eagles and Ravens what being competitive in the 08 championship got them in 09. Ask the Colts who lost in the first round and the Saints who didn't make the playoffs in 08 got them in 09. This is not the NFL of old anymore. You can be in the championship or even Super Bowl and next season be out of the playoffs. I'm sure the Vikings are happy everyday with their "competitive loss"Maikeru-sama;3262809 said:I respectfully disagree.
