Spin it any way you like, right now the Skins are better than us. They certainly have a better defence and their offence turned it on at the right time and went for the throat, something we patently failed to do. You guys are so fond of spewing that old Parcells' cliche, 'you are what you are', well right now we are 1-1 and the Skins are 2-0 and tied for the lead in the NFC East. Fooling ourselves and going on about how we 'gave the game away' isn't going to help anything. If the Boys aren't careful, they could very well lose to the 49ers next week (don't laugh, they beat the Rams, a better team than us.)

I'm not going to say the Skins are a better team...in fact, they're one of the worst teams in the league, in my opinion but I give credit where it's due. They have a very good defense but that defense wasn't challenged all night long except for a trick play.

This game shouldn't have been close...at all. Sure, the Cowboys had costly penalties at inopportuned times, but the extreme conservative nature of the offense was laughable. I won't blame the defense since they played so well the entire game.

There's no way this Cowboys team can take anything for granted, even the 49ers. We'll see how the team reacts. If I was the coach, I'd want to go to SF and deal them another 42-3 loss...open up the offense to get some confidence back, blitz Rattay like there's no tomorrow.

We'll see, but as of right now...I'm tired of "playing it safe" with all of these weapons.

Good game, gimpy .. you should definitely be happy with the Commanders being 2-0 after the way last season went. I think both teams still have some issues to be resolved but I'd much rather have issues with a 2-0 record than like us at 1-1 with issues.

Are you kidding? Just think if we beat the Eagles, especially IN Philadelphia .. we would be ecstatic as well. I'd trade a season sweep to the Commanders if it meant sweeping the Eagles
