What happened to the draft forum?

Anyways, as expected Hakeem Nicks from UNC declared. All I have to say is damn you Jerry Jones for giving away those picks for Roy Williams. Why make a statement that you were satisfied with the talent at WR, than go and throw away precious draft picks in the middle of the season. I was right on regardless of my bias that Desean Jackson was going to be a better pick than Mike Jenkins was.

This guy could go as high as the bottom of the first and up to the low second. He reminds me a lot of Steve Smith as he plays bigger than his frame.

Steve Smith is small - no doubt. Nicks is 6'2" and 210 pounds. Not exactly small. He's a very solid WR.

I still say lets give RW11 an entire off/pre-season before we start labeling that whole deal a mistake.

Also, Steve Smith is fast. Nicks' biggest question mark entering the draft is his speed. They actually have nothing in common.

I also agree that we need to give RW an entire offseason before we label him anything.

When Nicks goes to combine he will be in the lower 6'0"s.

We have no other choice but to give the other Roy a chance. Although I'm willing to bet that this could be another major mistake by JJ. It could have the same ramifications that the Galloway trade had.

JJ needs a gm like college football needs a playoff.

-see, Devin Thomas.

I don't see the one hit wonder thing with this guy? Can someone please elaborate. All I see is a guy who progressed since his freshman year. Not like UNC was some pass happy offense like some Big 12 offense who happens to have the top 2 wrs on draft lists.

Actually, you're right. I threw my comment out without doing any research. He has shown very steady progression every year.
