Does anybody have the video of this incident? I missed the game yesterday and would like to see it for myself. What a year!? An on-field altercation (Allen-Cortez), a sideline spat between players (Johnson-Bledsoe) and an incident involving coaches. This has been an encouraging year in some ways, but there's been a few distractions (the aforementioned events as well as the ongoing Key-Irvin thing (not a big deal but doesn't exactly help the team focus.)

Calico's coming with the vid soon... My opinion much ado about nothing...

As for all the sideline spats... It just means that the players know what's on the line. Can you imagine last year's group getting into each other's faces? I can't. When you're bad, what's there to b**** about. Nothing. You just hope to make it thru the game without an injury.

These guys are passionate and intense, and critical mistakes aren't nearly as tolerated. Anybody notice Witten's throwing more hissy fits, cuz he wants to win. He wants the ball and he's letting folks know. Hmmm... Key's influence. Maybe.

Shoot this board goes into meltdown mode on a loss, cuz they know this team has a shot. How do you think the team feels? I just think that with the talent on this team, they've got as good a shot of any. And they know that if they keep making mistakes like that, the opportunities are going to slip thru their fingers.

ok just a mild ramble for today a little off-topic, but I was bored. :)

I actually agree with a lot of what you are saying.

Also in todays press conference Parcells said he told all the coaches and players he will deal with the officials after what happened last week with all the abuse the refs took, and a letter from the league that went out.

Right before the officials came over you can see BP told everyone on the sideline to stay back, and they did move back. For some reason Haley decided to ignore this and come forward, and BP gave him the business. I have no problem with it, and think it is nothing.

Parcells was already intense, and probably upset about the call, and Haley decided to ignore his wishes. Oh well!

Ultimately, I guess it was no big deal but it's certainly speaks to the type of mindset Parcells was/is in.

I have watched football for 40 years and have only seen something like that 2-3 times.

I gotta tell ya, I was a big Parcells fan for years..huge fan.

I like him less and less with each passing game.

I like Parcells, he is losing his emotions to new extremes.

I really, really feel like our conservative gameplanning is keeping this team back. Instead of attacking putting games away we settle and revert to prevent/protect D mode. I don't like that at all...

You couldn't find a bigger supporter of his when he signed him up to coach this team than me, but his antics are getting old. Maybe if they got us a few wins, Id feel different but as long as we lose and he does this, it just makes it look worse.

I've been a big Parcells fan for a while and I still am and expect to be for a while, but yesterday Parcells did not do well.

Parcells' attitude stunk yesterday and he made decisions that seemed more like emotional responses than thought-out reasoned ideas. He set himself up for failure when he made that poor decision on challenging the call when it was obviously a correct call. Correct me if I'm wrong, but hasn't he missed on about all of his challenges, going back to about mid-last season? Who's advising him on that?

He didn't set any better example for his team when he got mad and pushed his assistant - that just shows he was being mad and stubborn and not thinking clearly.

As much as I respect Parcells, I think he brought yesterday's results on himself. He was clearly exasperated and emotionally wrought, as they say and I question his ability to make decisions at such times. BP seemed to me to be like a rampaging bear at times and he really needs to get in control of his feelings. My guess is the assistant was seeing that BP was wrong and was trying to do damage control, but when a person's mad, they resent that. Parcells was not fit to coach a few times yeasterday and that's getting too mad.

Yesterday Parcells did a poor job of leading by example. He needs to get back in charge of himself and show some leadership if he wants his boys to win. I love the team he has assembled, but I really wonder about some of his game day decisions.

Maybe I'm wrong but it seems to me that every time he gets this way, the offense becomes stodgy and goes into a shell. This Prevent Offense prevents you from scoring in the same way that the Prevent Defense prevents the other team from not scoring. Protecting a measly 4 point lead for an entire half is ludicrous and shows little confidence in the same people who light up the scoreboard when given the chance.

Insecurity, like confidence flows from the top.

(sigh) Maybe the pressure is getting to him. Maybe he should have taken a real vacation this year. Maybe he'll fell better next week and they'll win. Maybe they will play better against Arizona and then maybe they'll come back from the bye week like a prairie fire. I'm seeing more maybes now than I did before the beginning of the season. Of course the injuries don't clear things up much.

Conservative play calling inside 10 yard line twice late resulted in 3 points....

Come again MD?

We put 10 on the board and thats ok with you? MAYBE SOME AGGRESSIVE PLAY CALLING PUTS MORE THAN 10 UP?

WG hit the nail on the head.......basically, it is much to do about nothing....and I am glad we have coaches, players, and fans passionate enough about our Cowboys to have a heated discussion!
