Half way point. What was your expectation?

Looking at the schedule before the season started, It though we'd be 6-2 losing to the Broncos and the Deadskins. 5-3 at worst.

I thought we needed to be at least 5-3 to have a realistic chance at the playoffs since the second half schedule looked pretty tough.

Unless we make some drastic improvement quickly, I see us losing to the Saints, Bears at Chicago, GB and one or two of the 3 remaining division games. We haven't played well against the Deadskins at DC and the Giants are starting to win. I'm not so sure if 8-8 will get us anywhere.

Last year the offense (Romo/Dez/Witten) carried the team for a stretch. It remains to be seen if they can do it again.

I'm hoping JG realises his jobs on the line if we don't get in the playoffs and changes his approach from playing not to lose to playing to win.

I was thinking that's what we'll end up with at the end of the season. In order for us to get to that, I thought we needed to be at least 5-3 at the half way point. We might not even make it to 8-8 if we don't improve.

I want Garrett coaching like his job is on the line and his nuts are on fire for the next 8......

Expected where we are now, 4-4. Figured we would have beat the Chiefs and Chargers and lost a couple of divisional games though.

When I saw the schedule, I thought we needed to go at least 3-1 in the first four because I knew that Denver game would be difficult but we would still be sitting good at 3-2 or 4-1 if we had lost to them going into the Washington game. 2-2 and I thought it would be more of the same.

Zman...

I always break the season into quarters and just try to predict that way. Ironically, I had them going 2-2 in each quarter of the season. I looked at the schedule again tonight, my only concern right now is that I'm starting to think 1-3 to end the season. But to answer your question...record wise, they are exactly where I figured.

I have thought about this through and through and I keep coming back to 8-8.

I don't want to and when Sunday morning rears it's ugly head- I wake up believing in a Cowboys win.

Then I'm punched in the gut every other week.

I'm getting a little tired of getting punched in the gut every other week.

I'll keep believing in a win when those Sunday mornings come-

I just wish those Monday gut punches would end...

f' it- 10-6.

Throw those belly-busters.

I did not expect losses to Kansas City, San Diego, or Detroit.

Commitment to Mediocrity.

"Just 'meh' baby."

I had us 6-2 at this point and 11-5 for the year.

I'll settle for 9-7 now lol that will take this division

I'm hoping JG realises his jobs on the line if we don't get in the playoffs and changes his approach from playing not to lose to playing to win.

God help us all for me saying this, but if he has any power left at all and wants to sink or swim by his own hand... can he take the play calling back?!?

I'm in agreement with the others about 8-8.

We're average. Same ole, same ole.

I really did LOL when I read this. Not laughing at YOU...laughin at what you said. That was funny.

A believer til the day I can no longer watch.

Unabashedly.

Doesn't mean I'll lie about my feelings, but I'll still hope come game-day.

10 and GD 6.

GD stands for Goll-darned, if you didn't know...

I gotta believe right now that as Jerry is sitting back in his silk jammies, sipping a Johnny Walker Red, taking in game 4 of the Fall Classic, that he is very disappointed in his team so far. I believe, though he would never admit to it, he is starting to wonder if Garrett is the man for the job.
