Trade down with Patriots our number 5 overall for their 2nd and 4th points are close they want to get their choice of the 3rd QB taken before Min and Atl

2P38 DT Jordan Davis (6'5, 330) Georgia
2P44 DE Patrick Jones II (6'5, 260) Pittsburgh
3P69 S Andre Cisco (6'0, 203) Syracuse
3PCP OT Tyler Vrabel (6'5, 310) Boston College
4P CB Keith Taylor (6'3, 195) Washington

This is for a 3-4 defense they overall it this year and instead of a hybrid actually do a 3-4 base
Davis, Hamilton, and Woods NT
OLB Jaylon Smith and Randy Gregory on right side rotating/ 3rd Bradlee Anae
OLB Patrick Jones and Kuony Deng on the left side rotating/ 3rd Dorance Armstrong
DE Dlaw and Crawford on left side
DE Aldon Smith and Mustafa Johnson on right side
MLB's Vander Esch, Merlin Robertson, Francis Bernard, Luke Gifford

Love your draft. Well thought out and you have improved our defense.

(but at least you don't have us taking him in the 1st like a lot of #DraftTwitter)

Farley is my # 1 draft crush and has been for 3 years.
Davis is a big old body who's really starting to figure out D Line play.
I've been around Merlin a bunch these past few years and he's what you want in a linebacker. He's gotten bigger from last year as well.
Deng is a former JuCo product and is still learning, but at 6'6" and playing box linebacker, you have to love his athleticism. He might be a solution to Tight End mismatches.
Stevens may not be a legit NFL safety. He's versatile, but not ultra-athletic, but in the 6th round you are getting a well-coached kid who may find a niche at Nickel Linebacker and help out on ST.

We’re in nickel 80% of the time and that will utilize a 4-2-5 front. The ends are flexible in 2 or 3 PT stance.

Ya I like the draft. I want Parsons but this serves a lot of needs.
Good one

I think you need to get a little bit more in the return (probably a 2022 pick), but I think this would be a pretty good haul.

What do you do if Dak hasn't been signed to an extension on Draft Day? Can you really go into 2021 with no contract....u can't Franchise hime again.....Does this have an impact on the Draft or Dallas' Draft Plan?

Whethers its a 3-4 or a 4-3 Davis or Slayton from Florida need to be the round 2 pick. Enough is enough with this soft run defense

If Dallas is picking Top 5......I don't think we get that much unless somebody falls in love with the remaining QB. I still think the Jags will win a few more games. I still have hope we might win a few more games. We might be top 3 now, but that can change very quickly. I think we are ok for at least next two weeks.

You can sign him to a Franchise Tag again it is just a little more expensive. I think this is the way they will go. If they end up top two and want a QB they can draft him and then trade Dak he is tradeable under the Tag. They can also just keep him on the tag and give him a contract at the end of next year but he may be a 47 million a year QB by that time next year. Either way you tag him this year and figure the rest out when everything settles and you see things more clearly.

What team would trade for Dak? I keep hearing this.

lets say jets take Trevor and the Jags take Fields that leaves the Colts Vikings Patriots Bears and Every team in the NFC South that could be looking at QB also the QB's in that division could retire at any time and I don't think the Panthers are set on Bridgewater. If for any reason the Cowboys decide to draft a QB high then plenty of teams would be asking about Dak

Colts-rivers
Vikings-cousins
Bucs-brady
SAINTS-Brees and Jameis

See where I'm going? What makes paying Dak 35 plus mil better than what those teams already have? And that's not even factoring in Lance, Wilson and Trask. I dont buy any team trading for Dak

Rivers Brady and Brees are all on their last leg they could all retire this off-season if they don't take that team off the list but the possibility is still there.
Your right about the Vikings I thought Cousins was only under contract until this year. He is actually under contract until 2023; really bad contract by them the dead money is outrageous if they cut him so they are pretty much stuck with him until then.
