The Kaypro II was my first. Who needs a hard drive?

It's called sharing instant analysis. Imperfect, certainly, but interesting. Plus, depending on the talent of the game announcers, some of our thoughts here are more accurate and flat-out more interesting that that of a gameday, in-stadium, talking head. If I have to mute the sound, I don't mind reading others' thoughts about a particular play, but as you have already said, "to each their own".
Exactly. The commentary is much better. I log on because someone may have seen something that I missed, and the announcers usually always talk over the good stuff on the field.

Plus, its nice to have someone to vent to when things go wrong :D

Never had a laptop or used one. Never had a cellphone, either. No, I'm not a Luddite.

I've been through so many cell phones its not even funny. I honestly don't know how someone can survive without one nowadays. I'm not trying to diss on you or anything, but the reason you should not have one is if you stay at home all day. I can't imagine having to wait until I got home or , god forbid, use a payphone to call someone. I'm always on the go so I would miss countless calls if I had to rely on a land line.

You really should consider one, if only for emergency purposes. You never know when you will need to make an emergency call, plus phones are dirt cheap now. You can get a prepaid phone for like $10.

Yeah I am, but I'll settle for what your team offers tonight until we can actually see something interesting.

I wanna see what this new Skins offense looks like.

I know Campbell is the starter, but since it's a new offense he may get at least a quarter.

I hope he throws 3 INT's, lol.

I bet almost 20% of the broadcast tonight is dedicated to Favre's reinstatement.

I don't even care that we have to watch the Skins in the game for the 2nd time in 3 years.

It's football and it's about damned time.

Go Colts.

:starspin I feel the same way, I'm just ready to watch a football game, even if the Skins are in it.

is it a NBC game with Madden? if so 20% is probably more like 75%

Argh, I hadn't thought of that. You're definitely right about that - just one more reason for me to despise Favre.

Sometimes I don't think he reads the threads he compliments. Therefore, let's do a test. Someone start a thread that says "CC's the worst poster here." I wanna see if he responds "thanks for posting."

The Commanders looked better than I expected....and the Colts a bit worse. We'll see.

Didn't see the game, but it's way too easy to get sucked into preseason performance. We all know this, but--for a whole team--it literally means nothing one way or another unless you happen to know precisely what either or both of the teams was actually trying to achieve going into a game.
