Halloween Movie Favorites?

Love Evil Dead 2 and Motel Hell.

Oh boy two gems there.

"Motel Hell" isn't one that's often mentioned (or seen) by anyone.

I went to the movie theater to see it when it was released. Rory Calhoun was a real hoot in it.

A couple that I should have mentioned are John Carpenter's "The Thing" and "The Shining".

I watched both in the theater. It was shocking how little respect "The Thing" garnered when released. Today it's considered a 'classic' but certainly not then.

"The Shining" is simply one of the greatest movies ever– no matter the genre.

I like a lot of them, mostly the gory and gruesome ones. I am gonna throw two out there that aren't really Halloween but close enough:

1. Nothing But Trouble - got to love Candy and Aykroyd together
2. Saturday the 14th - an old spoof of the former :)

I try to stay away from the the movies with possessed little girls and clowns

Lon Chaney....Wolf man meets Frankenstein. Lon was a genius, IMO. What he did in the 30's was amazing.

Sleepy Hollow...

Anything by Rob Zombie......even the Halloween remakes.....but my every halloween "must watch" is the Leprechaun movies, even though I watch them more for the comedy than the horror lol....in the 90's nothin made me laugh more than 3 Stooges and I love Lucy re-runs, and The Leprechaun Movies......

I thought Rob Zombie Halloween was real good.
His part 2 not so much.
