I know he totally whiffed in the Baltimore game...however, overall, I dont have a problem with him moving to SS. Was he not a SS in Seattle?? I may be wrong, but perhaps with continuity in the secondary overall, and Wade running the show, the Dallas D may start to play CONSISTENTLY. Obviously, depth from FA or Draft is a necessity as wel.

he's always been a FS

reason he's not played SS is because he's not a very good tackler, back in Seattle he liked to go for the big hit, as opposed to wrapping up, and we all saw 1st hand how horrible his form is against Bmore

With the signing of Gerald Sensabaugh, I don't see this happening. Despite his 4 picks in 13 starts, coming out of college in 05 his run stopping and ability to wrap up were his positives. His lacking in pass coverage ability was the only criticism. It sounds like we may have got an upgrade on Roy.

Supposedly he was playing hurt in that game.

you have to be smart enough to pull yourself out of the game if you are too hurt to tackle

I was thinking he meant the guy would play at SS and Hamlin would stay at FS. *Shrugs* I could be completely wrong about what he was thinking there.
