Hangartner Possibility?

Was reading a release article on Guard Hangartner and at the end of the article they had Fan Posts, much like BTB comments section. One fan posted his surprise at the release and that the Boys now had him. Anyone know if this is true?

Seems like he would be a good fit, at least better than what we have, at RG with ability to play Center. Texas boy that was very popular in the lockerroom.

Geoff Hangartner – the Panthers' projected starter at right guard – was based on progress displayed by younger players on the roster
Hangartner – a fifth-round draft pick by the Panthers in 2005 from Texas A&M – played six seasons with the team (2005-08 and 2011-12). He started 55 games in Carolina, spending time at both guard and center during his tenure.

Hangartner started at right guard last year, then switched to center following Ryan Kahil injury
Hangartner started 83 games during his eight-year career with the Panthers and Buffalo Bills.
