It was the edges of the defense who allowed Arizona to run wild. The edges of this defense has to do their part if the Cowboys defense is going to improve in stopping the run.

I. This game was more Clark, Kearse and WilsonThe problem was always lve and clark
He gave them an easy 46 on one play to open the game. When parsons is on the end you know he is only rushing the passer.
This is not entirely accurate. Yes they didn't run a ton at Lawrence and Parsons did get burned but some of their big runs were not to him. Armstrong was burned badly on one big run. Fowler was mauled on another decent run I can recall. It wasn't simply all running at Parsons and he didn't hold up.More of those outside runs were at Micah, not Tank. And yet, I see everyone but Micah being blamed for it. Sorry, having him at DE is a weakness against the run.
Blame Clark and LVE if you must (blaming Mazi is nonsense), but the end has to set the edge and force the cutback. If he doesn't, the middle linebacker isn't outracing the back to the sideline. Not LVE, not Clark, and pretty much every other inside backer in the league.
He bit on the play fake but he wasn't the only one that messed up there. Wilson bit hard inside too and was easily blocked as was the CB on that side.He gave them an easy 46 on one play to open the game.
People blame the edges because the C gap is getting gashed, like alwaysPeople want to blame the edges but Lawrence is doing his job and is good against the run
