Yeah you could see our edges got sealed and our lbs were bad....also our des overpursued on the pass rush too and left a lot of space in the interior.

Similar issues that we have seen before, hope they clean it up

It was the edges of the defense who allowed Arizona to run wild. The edges of this defense has to do their part if the Cowboys defense is going to improve in stopping the run.

And 12 of those came on 1 carry

The edges on this defense is sack hungry, it showed last year, and it's showing again this year. They too easily run upfield and the takles happily let them while they leave a wide open gap.

So, make LVE a MLB ONLY to give him less area to cover and have Micah be more like a 3-4 OLB where he DOES have a little more responsibility than just rushing the passer. TJ Watt can do it, so Micah and his superior athleticism should be able to as well.

More of those outside runs were at Micah, not Tank. And yet, I see everyone but Micah being blamed for it. Sorry, having him at DE is a weakness against the run.

Blame Clark and LVE if you must (blaming Mazi is nonsense), but the end has to set the edge and force the cutback. If he doesn't, the middle linebacker isn't outracing the back to the sideline. Not LVE, not Clark, and pretty much every other inside backer in the league.

Our edges are so obsessed with getting up the field half the time they end up running into each other behind the freaking QB. From what I can remember Fowler was awful. Not sure what happened there.

This is not entirely accurate. Yes they didn't run a ton at Lawrence and Parsons did get burned but some of their big runs were not to him. Armstrong was burned badly on one big run. Fowler was mauled on another decent run I can recall. It wasn't simply all running at Parsons and he didn't hold up.

He gave them an easy 46 on one play to open the game.
He bit on the play fake but he wasn't the only one that messed up there. Wilson bit hard inside too and was easily blocked as was the CB on that side.

That WR ran right up the middle for a 50 yard TD. This is garbage. They ran on our defense in every way possible with every type of player, all over the field.

Issue last year is the same, the outside runs is what hurt this team.
