With Hanna's speed and size can't he be used at WR. If JG is not going to play him at TE then give him a chance at WR. There must be something I'm missing why they don't play him at WR, please inform me.

I don't think so, but I think he could be a good weapon at TE for us. Hopefully we get an OC creative enough to get him on the field more.

In the 4.4's.

Scout.com Combine Results (full list):
Location: Dallas
Year: 2007
Height: 6-4.5
Weight: 215
40-Yard Dash: 4.53
Short Shuttle: 4.17
Vertical Jump: 32.5"
3-Cone: 6.87
Broad Jump: 9-9

Why do we love trying to put players in other positions?

How about we let him learn the TE position before making him a WR?

What next? Make him a RB?

He looks like a keeper at TE. Give him some time. Witten's got a few more productive years ... maybe Hanna cane fill the void when Witten's time has passed.

Because that would take time away from Ogletree:D

Not sure I'm following this, as it might be a joke... but those aren't Hanna's numbers. He sure as heck didn't go to the combine in 2007, that's for sure.

Think you might have someone else there. He would have been finishing high school or about to start college.

My bad.

If he's got 4.4 speed, most linebackers couldn't handle him down field. Keep him at TE

If he uses his size, most CBs won't be able to handle him either.

He would be a good option in the middle of the field, and up the seams. That said, our offense runs very few of these patterns.:bang2:

Combine numbers in 2012 showed 252 lbs. and 4.49 40 speed. This kid needs to be used more and more

Thanks for the correction.

Guy is a TE but he can be split out wide like the Packers do Finley. Witten has done that on occasion also.

He should study the art of TE play as painted by Jay Novacek and Witten.....

......but it appears the OC needs lessons on how to utilize his attributes more than once every few games, no matter if he was a rookie or not........

I like this guy's skill set a lot. Reminds me of Hernandez out of New England. Keep him at TE, especially considering Witten continues to get older.
