Given Schulz put up better numbers in 2020 than Jarwin has put up in his career, giving Jarwin the automatic 'win' may be very preemptive. Also keep in mind Dallas can get out of Jarwin's contract after this season ($2M dead money but $4.25M savings) and Schulz is an UFA so Dallas will have a difficult decision to make.

Jarwin will ride pine this season Birthday boy took his roster spot away from him
 
I imagine both Schultz and Jarwin will be used to advantage or, at least, I hope so.

What happens in TC might very well tip the scales one way or the other. We'll see.
