Edit: this is the day 250 years later when we declared independence, but still were colonies. We didn’t actually win independence until 1783, so we can Celebrate again in 8 years!
 
A happy and safe holiday to all. I'm not sure how it is where you live but for my general area July 4th has become a very active holiday for monitoring police scanners. Unfortunately some DWIs even though they have been promoting the fact there will be increased roadblocks and checkpoints. And my county is good for at least one EMS call for some amateur that blew off a finger with fireworks.
Fireworks have never impressed me-even as a kid.

Dak to Georgie P. for a 55 yd TD---thats the only type fireworks I want.

May your grill stay hot, your beverages stay cold, your fireworks stay pointed in the right direction, and most importantly, may everyone stay safe.

dont be a Piere Paul lol Along with severe get some issues with your eyes I've even seen people do crazy stuff like a bunch of fireworks in the fire pit and jump over them and literally you saw somebody have a firework shoot right up his leg He knew his shorts and he could get it out and he'd take his pants off go to hospital at severe burns in his genital area..

So yes be smart how about you just watch the fireworks lots of firework shows in every city some be seen from your roof somewhere in your area where you can park a little further away and not to deal with the crowds there's lots of ways party and have a good time but not involves body part and finds and arrests because it is illegal and you could bring someone's house down put burns over their cars and also don't be a party poop stop shooting your firearms off as if the bullets don't land places 90% of the time it may fall harmlessly down another time it's got through people's roofs carving Shields denting their car and even had one of my customers at their AC units get a hole in it ruined the whole unit we had to change the unit because of the whole from somebody shooting one in the air got them in the neighborhood I could be a person or a dog..

Again, celebrate have a great time and have a super holiday but just be smart Be safe... I don't think there's a kind of say just send it..lol

If you do please post pictures of your injuries friends and friends injuries cause love to see them.. :popcorn: ;)
