Twitter: Happy birthday Dalton Schultz!

Schultz's promising career is attracting sponsors. This year Invisalign is tweeting happy birthday wishes. Next year it will be Crest. The following year will be Scope...

I was not so sure about Schultz when the drafted him. Not him as a player, but when the selected him.

Then in his 2nd year he grew on me some, as I thought, let's see him develop some more. I liked him a lot more after last season. But not sure about a huge contract yet as the top TE.
So let's see how he does this year on the tag (unless they work out a decent cap friendly longer term deal, without over paying).

I have no issues with him playing on the tag. Signing him to a long term deal to cut his cap hit this season, really does nothing. As they will not use that until next season anyway, and I am ok with that.

surely there is something negative to say regarding his birthday:).

The part on the left side looks like cheap tile on a wall. Wonder if that is a shower curtain as the back drop. Is that negative?
:muttley:

That's one heck of a long neck. Looks like they photo shopped a headshot of him on another one of his pictures, just so he could be smiling.
 On second glance, his head DOES look photoshopped.

His neck does remind me of Merton Hanks. I disliked the 49ers but it really bugged me more whenever he would make a play and started shaking his head like a chicken on crack.

Yeah, that's almost three extra inches of neck he has in that photo.

Shultz knows how to get open and catches EVERYTHING thrown his way. His hands are off the charts. And most importantly, he has a connection and the trust of Dak.

That being said he has been a below average blocker. Now if he can click that over to above average he will be one of the better TE's in the league with those kind of numbers receiving numbers.

Is that his real neck? Kinda like Davis Mills, what are they doing at Stanford? Hanging them from the noggin?
