I know I’m getting old when Emmitt Smith has turned 56. I can remember like it was yesterday when he showed in Dallas after being drafted as a 21 year old wearing that crazy outfit. Not in my wildest Cowboys dreams did I ever think he would be as good as he was.

Many try and give his great OL most of the credit for his success but go back look at how many defenders he ran over and all the tackles he broke. He came out of several piles to score TDs. Never saw a back who could slither through defenders and bounce off them like he could.
