The true GOAT. Longevity, durability and dependability are underappreciated skills and Emmitt had all three despite playing the one position that takes the most beating. He didn't have the pure speed of Barry Sanders or the size of Jim Brown, but he outlasted them both and had more "wow" to his game than he often gets credit for.

That first play of the season he broke it open against the Gnats was beautiful, he left a trail of magic Dallas dust in his wake that followed them the whole season

I'll never forget when I got to shake his hand at the victory parade in Downtown Dallas, after drubbing the Bills 52-17 in the Superbowl. The man is an amazing person, and one of my favorite Cowboys of All-Time. Happy Belated Birthday Emmitt!
