I know I'm from England and don't have the knowledge you do but having watched so many sports for 60 years it seems to me that in any sport an owner who will neither coach the team himself nor allow a top class coach to do so is a huge millstone and especially in the NFL, the most competitive sport league in the world. Jones' ego is a huge handicap and explains the never-ending series of coaches he appoints. An owner going on radio to talk about team selection, tactics etc? Are you joking?
