Watching them play I wouldn't have guessed Roger is actually a year older than Craig. Morton looked like an old man in the late 70s while Roger was still dodgin'.

Another tidbit: the other great NFL QB scrambler - Fran Tarkenton - celebrated his 81st birthday two days earlier....February 3rd. Tarkenton was the "Son Of A Preacher Man" (Dusty Springfheld - November 1968). His father's first name - Dallas.
Both Staubach and Tarkenton had tremendously successful business careers after they hung up their cleats and shoulder pads.

My favorite Cowboy of all time and the main reason I became a Cowboys fan despite living in Steelers country. I believe God put Captain America on this earth to QB America’s Team. An incredible mix of athleticism, leadership and competitiveness made Staubach one of the greatest ever. Happy Birthday Roger! I still love ya today brother!
