Happy, but sad!

Yeah, in a lot of ways, every win going forward is a huge loss because it buys Garrett more time.
Well sorry that is in Jerry. Why should I not be able to enjoy every win we get because Jerry doesn't know the difference between coaching greatness and plain old players just wanting to win.
I will continue enjoying this team winning when it does, so be it.

That's great, you enjoy it, I'm not going to tell you how to live your life. I'll continue to cringe knowing that this isn't a very good team, and we have one of the worst coaches in the league, neither of which will change with Garrett winning.

Admittedly the win got me more excited about Cowboys football. I know our chances are slim but it felt good to see some production on the field.

I also know that makes me seem like a fairweatber fan, and maybe I am a bit this season. I just felt like the win rekindled some energy in an otherwise exhausting NFL season.

No matter what though I always love my Dallas Cowboys. I just can't help it.

It won't change with him losing either.

This year, you're right, he's pretty much untouchable. But, it would be great to have him go into next year planted firmly on the hot seat. If he keeps winning, it'll buy him another year.

As I posted earlier in the week, our luck will result in this team getting hot & running the table into the playoffs and then getting blown out in the first round. The Clapper gets praised and a vote of confidence for making the pre-playoff run and will be the coach of the 'boys in 2018. As our luck would also have it, this may also result in discussions of a contract extension for Clappy and the entire coaching staff.

That's exactly how I feel. I'm scared this team is heading to 8-8 or 9-7. No playoffs, garbage draft spot, and the coaches remain.
That's a successful season for the FO. No changes in the administration. No significantly negative questions to answer over the offseason. All they have to do is market the product as a contender and the sheep will follow.

well I agree about Garrett and this coaching staff, and probably will get same results with it regardless, but we surely will not get any better by tanking games or just plain ol losing them. Teams can be built by the draft, but not solely by it and not at the expense of confidence.

Gone are the days of us spending any money in FA worth talking about. At this juncture, our only option for improvement is via the draft, and every move up the board is a move in the right direction. If we're not going to win it all, or even make the playoffs, wins be damned.

Just be happy we have meaningful football in December

yeah Browns fans say the same thing.
