This is what my sixteen year old daughter wrote in card:

Dear Daddy,
You're the best Daddy a girl could ask for. You are better than all of my friends Dads. I know because all of my friends like you best...: ). You are fair and stern but kind and thoughtful. You have taught me so much and if I am ever anything like you, I will be pretty pleased with myself. You work hard and I know that you want us to have the best. I guess what I am trying to say is thank you for all the hard work over the years. I love you.

What a girl.

Go buy taht girl a new car:bow:

Happy Fathers Day to all , I echo every-one's sediments that if you Dad's are still around, tell them you love them as long and as many times as you can.

When I speak to both my mom or dad, I always end the conversation with an I love you. All three of my children do the same with myself and my wife, it's a great gift to show someone how much they mean to you .

I hope you all will call your Dads today. I really wish I could. Take advantage of this day.

I lost my Dad two years ago, and the memory of that is still fresh. My older son called me yesterday and wished me a happy Father's day. He also reminded me to get a little more active. I wondered what that was about, until my wife and younger son came in with the Ninitendo Wii and Wii Fit they all bought me for Father's Day. They were pretty clear that my Sundays of watching multiple fooptball games were about to change. I'm now in the let's-use-the-Wii-on-any-day-but-Sunday negotiation pahase. It was great surprise, but there are some challenges with it. I hope everybody here had a great Father's Day.
