Thanks, guys, The part I love the most about celebrating Mother's Day is knowing that without my kids it wouldn't be possible.

Today my kids (mainly my 11yo daughter) made me a card, shaped like a flower, out of paper mache that has seeds fused into it. You plant the card and it grow flowers. I thought it was cute and creative.

They also smoked a chicken and boiled some crawfish and corn. To top it off they also made me a cake. Great kids!

This was a bitter sweet day as I know that it could be a few years until I have them all home with me again on MDs, since my oldest son is leaving for Parris Island in 4 weeks.

This. I'm lucky to have my wife , mother in law, Grandmother , and various aunts around but it is not the same without mom.
