MBV is good but really didn't produce enough work to be a great band. Loveless is a great album though. Sad that they've been trying to write a follow-up for 18 years now.

I was thinking the Pogues. Hell, there are like 2 successful bands right now who just freaking copy them. Of course, Shane McGowan is a really amazing songwriter and you can't "copy" that.
