Just so you all in the south know, not everywhere in Canada has snow, we don't on the west coast. Yee lives in one of the coldest parts of North America, Saskatchewan. It's about 10-12 degrees here (50-54 for you that don't use celcius)

davidyee;3012705 said:...Christmas Goose.
It's a micro brewery located here in Saskatchewan.
They release only (100) cases during the Christmas season and people from all over Canada, the United Stated and Europe line up to buy it online or at the retail front of the stores and brewery.
The reason for the limited release is the filtration method for the water, singular barley supplier and the singular supplier of the hops.
The hops are hand planted, watered by nature and hand harvested and dried a year in advance. The supplier, unknown to the consumer and a well kept secret, has produced a variety with a herbal aroma.
They use a singular sparge filtration method.
The beer comes in at 7% alcohol volume and works well with a hearty meal such as Christmas Goose, Ribs or Turkey.
It will make you think differently about heavy lagers. People who I have sent this to have told me it's a delicious beer that you can't drink more than one bottle at a time.
It's high calories and a great palate cleanser for a greasy meal.
The brewery complains that they make no money on the production run, but they try to keep it going because of the marketing frenzy.
If you can get your hands on a case I recommend it. It's hard to come by and it's not guaranteed from year to year.
