Well, he failed at that, but Dak hit into a couple double plays for him anyway.Yup, by miniziming his possessions. 8:21 time of possession in the 2nd half, Harbaughs wanted to walk Dak every time he came to the plate.
He didn't let him swing the bat much. Not a bad plan, just more of a statement as to how it's not the Quarterbacks fault.
If you don't let him throw the ball, Quarterback can do nothing.
Fair points...but the defense was NOT NFL quality...and coming on the heels where the defense was NOT NFL quality last season...is alarming. The offense is usually a top 5 offense. The obsession with finding fault/non fault with Dak is reaching new levels that just leave me concerned about people’s mental health.
Was Dak the primary reason we lost Sunday? No, not even close. Still the offense started the game punt, punt, TD, INT in the 1st half. It’s not as if these guys played well either.
Wow he must be some kind of genius. Why hasn't anyone ever thought of this plan before?Yup, by miniziming his possessions. 8:21 time of possession in the 2nd half, Harbaughs wanted to walk Dak every time he came to the plate.

you Dak Bots never run out of excusesCurious, who is responsible for holding a team from scoring from their own 45?
And who is tasked with holding opposing team's offense from scoring from their own 25?
Also, is the expectation that Dak throw the ball, a dime, into his own breadbasket down field? Or is the guy on a franchise tag who wants to get paid have any responsibility too?
If a teams morale is shot over 1 interception, one where QB was scrambling for his life and throwing off back foot and defender made a fantastic play on ball and great catch, then Id say maybe that team is weak.
We can;t seem to do that even against bottom teams.Literally every coach in football, at every level, wants to keep potent offenses on the sideline by controlling the clock. Jason Garrett tried to do this too.
That would be everybody's game plan but the only way that works is when you have a terrible defense to play against that's not happening every week I mean don't call it a blueprint that's ridiculous I know that's what people are thinking no that's just how it happened game one because it's not that easy to do ask the Eagles the Cowboys should have beat them in game one last year and they came back from 24 points down you don't get that opportunity much But you're right the time of possession was lopsided and horrible and that is why the Cowboys lost the game but you can't do that to the Cowboys every game you would have to have a terrible defense every game to do that and that won't happen this year or Christian Parker might not make it to Week 8.Yup, by miniziming his possessions. 8:21 time of possession in the 2nd half, Harbaughs wanted to walk Dak every time he came to the plate.

Grow up.I totally get your outrage at someone else being named a Dak jock sniffer.
Patently false. The QB didn't have to scramble for his life, he CHOSE to try to go around the defender Steele had already kicked well out to the right. He literally ran directly into the outside defender when he could see the defender \ situation the entire time.If a teams morale is shot over 1 interception, one where QB was scrambling for his life and throwing off back foot and defender made a fantastic play on ball and great catch, then Id say maybe that team is weak.
Being a baseball aficienado, let me correct your attempt of tying baseball to football, while helping the members of this forum understand what on earth you are trying to stay here. There is no specific QB TOP stat, it's actually recognized as a team side of the ball. HC of the Giants gave Dak (and the TEAM) ample opportunity to put up points in the 1st half, by allowing them to come off of the sidelines 4x. In those first 2 times off of the sidelines, Dak (and his team) managed 41 total yards. One one of these 4 times HC of the Giants allowed Dak (and the TEAM) off of the bench, Dak (Dak alone) threw up a balloon that actually brought rain to the fans in NYC. Giants HC let him throw the ball on that INT, and well...you know.Yup, by miniziming his possessions. 8:21 time of possession in the 2nd half, Harbaughs wanted to walk Dak every time he came to the plate.

We know the last thing that you are is an actual Dallas Cowboys fan, but at least try to look somewhat smart when trying to describe how/why our QB was shut down in the 2nd half, only being allowed 2 attempts of moving the pigskin to the opposite side of the field.
Here is the reality of how your QB played: TOP in the 1st half was 50/50, The score was 7-7, and Dak's INT directly led to the Giants going up 14-7 at the half, while getting the ball coming out of halftime. And guess what? The Giants scored ont heir first possession out of the half if I am correct. Sooo, you are correct in that Harbaugh sat Dak and the TEAM on the bench almost the entire 2nd half, but he allowed them to play in the first half, and they zero, zip and nada. If that INT doesn't happen, the game could have and would have likely (no pun on who had the INT) had a different result
Some people make a big deal about Dallas "only had 2 possessions in the 2nd half"....but neglect to mention Gnats had only 3, and the third one was to run out the clock. We know the last thing that you are is an actual Dallas Cowboys fan, but at least try to look somewhat smart when trying to describe how/why our QB was shut down in the 2nd half, only being allowed 2 attempts of moving the pigskin to the opposite side of the field.

Not a defensive coordinator alive game plans around #4.
More spin to try & deflect any blame from the "never his fault" crew.

Quit lyingAnd you’re a tool for saying so behind a keyboard tough guy.
