I was taping and watching the show last night, but my little ones were being their monsterous selves, and I missed part of a conversation.

Question:
Tony and (I think TO) were knelling on the sideline watching the offense. I heard Tony make a reply that we would keep 6 WRs and the last one would be who(?).

Sorry, haven't had time to rewatch it, just wanted a quick update on what I missed.

Oh no you didn't...

It was #18.

And then T.O. added in the interview shot that if he didn't make our team, he'd make someone else's team.

The one who shows the most? :)

Should I ask who #18 is or is this going to set off another one of those love or hate threads?

Thats one bad thing about Hard Knocks.

It exposes our guys that you know we would love to sneak on the Practice Squad.

I can't remember... I would PM Alexander and ask him. ;)

someone can correct me if i'm wrong, but i think if i remember correctly the conversation was something like this:

T.O: how many receivers are we gonna keep?

Tony: i hope we keep 6

T.O: Amendola better be one of them

Thanks guys,

Dallas, that slide/photo thing is pretty cool.

I have to rewatch it later because I missed quite abit. Also, I'm going to have to set down my little guys (rugrats) and explain to them the pecking order of my Cowboys and my Family. :D

We probably will keep six WR this year and I would imagine that Amendola will be #6. Question is will we keep 4 RBs (includes 1 FB) or 5 RBs. If we keep 5 then I think we only keep 9 OL.

Do you seriously think that scouts for other teams wouldn't know these things without Hard Knocks?

I would bet that there are scouts for every NFL team trolling blogs and newsgroups all the time looking for info on bottom of roster guys at this point of the year.

That may be true, but I do think that teams will sometimes try to hide players, not even play them in preseason games, bevause they know they are a year or 2 away and want them on their practice squad.

Ex - Lowber and Lattimore did not play a down did they?

Lowber and Lattimore didn't play a down because they are at the bottom of some very crowded positions. We have 10 WR and 5 RB with a bunch of rookies/near rookies that need snaps

A team that tries to "hide" a player does more harm than good as they never get a decent look at the player in game action.

Abe's right: if a team/organization has to learn about Lowber through 'hard knocks" well..........then there's the detroit lions............

What do TO and Romo know?

Nors has already said if we keep lil' Danny, we go 5-11.

Would you keep Lattimore and let Coleman walk?
