One thing that has me wondering was when LVE was telling #11 “you’re out there trying to make every play”. I mean, no **** LVE. Every player out there should be trying to make every play. Love LVE but am I missing something here? That wasn’t a good look for him.

I think he meant just playing smart and not trying to get overzealous. Keep running headfirst into everything and a good OC will misdirection the hell outta you.

You can go all out while being controlled but there’s a fine line, I think LVE was just trying to impart that on him.

The image of Dak trying to hit his 45 degree ankle back in place is something I’ll never forget. The way his teammates responded is also something I’ll never forget. I’ve been watching the NFL since at least 63 and never saw that kind of support from teammates.

You may not remember when DeMarcus Ware hurt his neck or Michael Irvin in Philly then. Many Cowboys have gotten tear-worthy support from their teammates over the years. We tend to remember the ones that are freshest in our minds more. Different situations, of course, since with the neck injuries players couldn't go up and pat them on the shoulder or shake their hands, but the support was similar and just as poignant.

It's always nice to see our players rally around one of their own.
