I would reccomend mpeg 4 with the h.264 encoder.

How did you record it in HD off HBO? Do you have a cable box connected to a pci hd card?

Yeah i went today to buy some PCTV HD pro stick at circuit city for like $100 bucks. I have an HD direct tv box that connects straight up to that.

Oh that makes sense. You recorded it in HD and then captured it in analog.

You need to compress it still.

you need to use a program to compress it to a smaller file.

Download mpeg streamclip its free and it is a great tool.
