Hardest one game record to break

Hos' career record thread inspired this single game thread.

I submit Fernando Tatis' record of two grand slams in one innning off the same pitcher as the single game mark most unlikely to ever be bettered.

Are there any other "unbreakable" single game marks out there in any sport?

Randall Williams record for fastest TD likely won't be beaten since it's obvious the clock didn't move. Either that or he covered 40 yards in inhuman time.

Well, Williams was pretty fast.

Most wins in one game? I think you missed the question.

I would say Wilt Chamberlain's 100 points in one game. It took 45 years for someone (Kobe) to come within 19 points.

I think he was saying you can't win more than 1 game in 1 game.

Jamal Lewis single game rushing record? what 3 yards away from 300 or something close to that, seems pretty hard to me

I will go with Tony Dorsett's longest run in the NFL as being the hardest to break...actually it is impossible to break. It can only be tied at best.

The most interceptions seems like the only one that's going to stand forever. Hard to believe that no one's ever had three safeties. You'd think that a punt blocker might have gotten two and then picked one up on regular defense and would have pulled that off over the years.
