Hardy likely caved

The fact that we have not heard a peep out of the Hardy camp since his suspension was reduced to 4 games suggests that he made a deal with the NFL not to challenge it if it was reduced to 4 games. I don't expect to hear anything more from him. Bad decision. After Brady, he would have gotten no more than 2 games.

Until we hear something definative I'm holding out hope he appeals. But I also heard yesterday he was thrilled his suspension got reduced to 4 games and was satisified with that.

Agree to hope. But not hopeful. His camp would have innediately come out with a PR statement if they were. And today is the deadline.

Deadline based on what? I heard Schefter said it was a 90 day deadline, but it hasn't even been 60 days since his appeal. His suspension starts tomorrow I think, so there is that, but I don't see why he still wouldn't be able to go to court.

We got another Ro Mc here, dude doesn't really wanna play a Full season...o_O

You answered your own question. The woman beater's suspension starts tomorrow. If he was going to appeal, pretty safe to say he would do so by today, especially considering courts are closed until Tuesday.

He has to weigh the fact that any appeal could put off his suspension until the middle of the season, or the odds that when he appeals to the courts he could injunctive relief and that any suspension would be completely overturned and again not happen in the later part of the year.

Hardy is celebrating the birth of a child and so moved on from his spotted past. I'm thinking he's taking the four game break and then coming back murdering souls. Brady beware... just saying.

Hardy doesn't want this dragging into the offseason and affecting his negotiations as a free agent.

If he had filed right away, it would have been resolved by now.

I have to believe there's truth to the belief he is culpable in his case, especially since he doesn't appeal the suspension. If Hardy truly didn't lay a hand on this woman, he MUST appeal this suspension. The fact he didn't is very telling to me.

It would have depended on where he filed and the case load in front of that court. No way to know for sure if it would have been resolved by now or not.
