James Hardy is a Plaxico clone......

Hopefully he could contribute right away if drafted. He is an athlete playing WR.

It does not matter how fast or how big or how quick you are if you DO NOT CATCH THE BALL.

I've seen alot of this guy and have been a fan of Hardy ever since his freshmen year.

Yes, he is fast and tall, but has problems getting separation and does not run the best of routes. However he is a tremendous leaper and has the ability to catch the ball up high with his hands. I'd like to have him, but if he doesnt get drafted by us, I wont be too sad.

Runs 4.47 at 6-6 and 220.

79 receptions, 1125 yards and 16 TDs.

What would sell you?
He will likely have a very good NFL career. Unless he sustains a major injury, his size and speed will keep him on someone's roster for a long time. I doubt he makes it to 22.

I'm really starting to like this Jordy Nelson guy from Kansas. He's having a great workout today and has exceptional hands.

BEWARE of underwear olympics guys who did not really produce on the field.

Surely you're not talking about Hardy or Nelson.

Earl Bennett is still my guy at WR. He isn't the fastest, but he did turn in a 4.51 which is pretty good considering he is definitely not thought of as a burner. But the guy runs great routes and likely has the best hands of any WR in this draft.

Plus it doesn't hurt the insane numbers he put up against SEC CB's playing for Vandy. :)

I was talking about guys who did not produce on the field but smoke the combine; Matt Jones is just the most recent example of someone who had done nothing since he was a QB and they moved him to WR based on his combine performance. He has NOT done much in the pros.

The thing to remember about Hardy is that he played with a very suspect QB and produced.

I really like this kid. Even more after a time like that.

Eddie Royal has been doing well in the underwear olympics. He ran a 4.39, benched 24 reps, had a 36 inch vert, a 10' 4" long jump. Hope that doesn't push his value too high, he would be a great midround pickup.
