Harris is gone, who do the Cowboys pick up for return duties?

Andre Debose, WR, Florida may go undrafted, but with a 40 time of 4.38 and an average of 25 yards per kick and 14 yards per punt in his collegiate career, he could be a decent option to pick up post draft.

Stefon diggs is my choice. He is on another level in the open field. Could be had in the 5th or later.

Therein is the issue. I'm not sure the Cowboys will want to spend a valuable pick on a role player such as kick returner / punt returner.

Oh yes I understand that but he is certainly an option if no worthy defensive player is there when we pick in the 5th. He could be one of the best returners in the nfl.

Cowboys already have a returner on the roster who should be an improvement from Harris. What they need to do is replace Harris on ST coverage. He was a demon on coverage.

Refresh my memory - who is the better returner than Harris, aside from Dez who probably won't ever return a kick/punt again after being injured doing it a few years ago.

David Johnson can do it a little bit.

This. Don't draft a guy specifically to return kicks and punts. Most of these guys who will be drafted as returners remind me of Skyler Green. Get a guy like Johnson who can return but also offer something on offense. I also wouldn't mind Quinten Rollins in the 3rd because he has return capability from what I've heard, and he can play defense.

Can Dorsett from Miami return kicks? Already know he can blaze and he could be valuable as a deep threat WR.
Otherwise, think we're looking at Bell or Diggs in the late rounds. I really like Tyler Lockett also but he'll probably go higher than we want to spend on a primarily KR/PR.

LB signed from San Diego is a coverage demon. Who's our return man?

Diggs isn't just a kick returner. He's a heck of a WR too.

It's funny. In year's past, I have fallen in love with the speed back only to see the Cowboys pass on them. Corey Grant would be an interesting get, but for what the Cowboy's are looking for in a starting RB (which is what I think they should be looking for in the draft) he is a bit small. If the only thing he can do is return kicks/punts, it would be hard for the Cowboys to carry him on the 46-man roster each Sunday.

Yes sir. Diggs, Lockett or Bell would make for a nice replacement. I think all three are better Wr's than Harris as well.

The question is can any of them, including the guy I mentioned in the OP, cover kicks/punts? In reality, that is probably going to be the deciding factor the Cowboys consider when choosing their next returner.

Of the four I would say Bell would be best suited.
