This kid looks like a perfect disruptive DT in our system. Not huge at 6’3 295 but plays with strength and quickness to play either the 3 or 1. Wrestling background that plays with leverage and toughness you love to see in a DT.

Plays NT and currently leads the Stanford D in tackles...that’s pretty crazy. 76 total tackles, 14 TFL, 2 FF, and 7 sacks this season. 10 TFL and 7 sacks last year

Could easily see this kid get to 310 and not lose much in terms of quickness.

like the kid

I also like OT OG

David Bright, OT/G, Stanford
Height: 6-5. Weight: 293.
Projected 40 Time: 5.32.
Projected Round (2018): 5-7.
11/11/17: Bright needs to gain more weight and strength for the NFL.

9/1/17: Bright started at right tackle in six games for Stanford with four starts at left guard during his 2016 season. Bright was a solid run blocker, but he needs to improve his pass protection. Gaining weight for the NFL is also a necessity

I was actually surprised to see his listed weight. I would have guesssd 305 at least. Who knows, with college listed weights. That could be the same # from when he was a freshman for all we know

I would love this pick! Move Collins back to his natural position and you can get to the QB from all four spots on the DL while still having good run defenders.

After years of sub par 1- tech play, can someone please tell me why the FO hasn’t overruled the DC and draft a stub. It doesn’t matter how great your LB’s are if over the course of a 16 game season guard are constantly blowing out to the second level to attack your backers they will never stay healthy. Kuechly is a great player but what separates him from Lee is he has DT that demands double teams occupying the guard so they attack LB
