Anyone got anymore info about this?
The trouble is, Quinn did so well with this defense that the Joneses may not see a need to make any great changes.Hopefully, when Quinn re-signed, he gave the Joneses a list of what he needs to take this defense to the next level. Of course, the Joneses will be heading to Goodwill to try to fill those needs.
We added a 327 pounder last yearNeed giant run stuffer in middle of D - have for years. Seems to always be ignored in FA or draft. Probably going to be the same this year unfortunately.

We need interior help. A DT/NT would help our run D issues. It's nice to have 3-4 guys to get the QB. But we can't do that if teams commit to running against us, especially if Our offense starts the game playing like garbage.Possibly, but we are going to lose some of those players. The question is how we will replace them. Generally, the theme with the Joneses has been to make sure we have a body that can start at each position, but it doesn't matter how warm that body is.
If LVE leaves, for example, they may just think they can replace him with Cox (although I think Cox will be seen more as a replacement for Neal, if he leaves). If both Neal and LVE leave, then it's likely the Joneses will try to latch onto their next Kearse-like find; never mind the many more bargain players we've signed who have been total duds.
We have to replace or re-sign Watkins, Urban, LVE, Kearse, Kazee, Neal, Gregory, Armstrong and Hooker to have the same defense. Some of them will be cheap and be brought back, but some will leave for greener pastures.
