that's a TD. no real evidence to the contrary unless you are a total Az homer. And if so, get the hell off our board.

That was a TD, it was just a stupid throw by Kurt Warner!
Yea it was strange. I've never seen a QB try to force a slant pass to a covered WR with the number 81 :laugh2:

That was definately a TD by Harrison even though the refs did miss a block in the back at around the 30 yard line (it was close). Regardless of a few marginal calls that went Pittsburgh's way, Arizona had an opportunity to win it in the 4th quarter and they couldnt come up with a stop when they had to have it.

I hate to see Pittsburgh get #6 but they earned it. Pretty sad that their road to it went through a marginal San Diego team, Baltimore and the Cardinals. Kind of a freebee.

On that interception right before the half they bunched everybody up in the middle with Fitz in the slot and I was praying that Fitz would break it out to the corner and Warner would loft him that money fade that has been working anytime he throws it out there... Why Warner needed to squeeze it in to Boldin surrounded by the defense at that point anyway was a bad decision on him... Fitz goes and gets it when the ball is in the air... The whole left side was open if I'm not mistaken... Just loft it to Fitz and it would have been Az 7 up.

seriously?! the steelers had the toughest schedule in the league this year.

nothing's a freebee. the cards went through atlanta, carolina and philly. so theyre a pretty tough team. they may not be known as a "great" team bec of the rep they developed through the years, but thats why they play the games. they showed theyre a tough team in the games they played on their road to the sb. theyre a worthy opponent.

stop it at :53. Elbow was down before ball went over. - I just want to know what you guys see.

You can't tell from that angle whether the ball had broken the plane before his elbow hit the ground. In fact none of the replays were conclusive, so you pretty much have to go with the ruling on the field.

Around the 1:58 mark it looks like the elbow hit at the inch line and then his helmet makes contact about 1 yard deep in the end zone.

Problem is you cant see all the ball so there is no way to tell if it had broken the plane before the elbow hit.

I personally think he was down a the 1 inch line, but no clear angle to overturn the call on the field, so I really dont have a problem with this TD.

It was a TD.

What surprised me is that no running back or receiver from the Cardinals could catch him down the field. Does that team have any speed?

That really was the turning point of the game.

I hate the Steelers, but I gotta admire the franchise and owner. They know how to do it the right way. :(

Please stop this hardest schedule stuff! The first team I checked Pittsburgh's schedule against, Cincinnati, had a tougher schedule! Pittsburgh opponents 133-120-2. Cincinnati opponents 141-114-1.

Seriously - that play seemed to take forever. Fitz actually was knocked down at one point and got up to come close to making the tackle

I thought he was in. I didn't see his elbow ever hit the ground. His head hit first if anything and it was in the endzone.

Still doesn't make up for the missed hold on Warner during the run back. Watch #26 extend him arm, grab a handful of jersey and pull.

I've noticed this too. I also know this toughest schedule stuff is what the media is spewing. They didn't have the toughest schedule.

At :53 I see where he goes down and it looks as if his elbow is going down in the endzone. From the angle you're looking at there it's absolutely impossible to say rather or not the ball has broken the goal line.

Just like your post with the picture of Holmes, at the moment he caught the ball, this attempt fails to prove your silly theory.

His knee might have been on Fitz, but his elbow was down before the ball was in the endzone.

Anyone in the media notice this yet?

And Fitzgerald's 1st TD catch clearly hit the ground has he was coming down...
