I enjoyed the heck out of it. Took the wife and kids to the midnight showing.

I am exhausted and wide awake at the same time.

HAHA. I saw the commercial saying tonight was the midnight showing and it was freakin' 12:05. I don't like Harry Potter, but the wife loves them and I would have taken her. Still might try to surprised her if she doesn't read this...

Awesome. My kids would not have lasted through a midnight showing and still made it to school. We have tickets for tonight for the 7PM showing at the IMAX theater near us. Reserved seats, so no waiting in line for 3 hours to get a good seat.

I wish we could go see it, but we don't have a regular babysitter for the kiddo because she is deathly shy.

I could never do a midnight showing, though. I start nodding off at 10 these days.:

I've seen I think the first two movies. I suppose one day I should actually read the books. (I started one, but never finished) I'm not liking that ***** J.K.Rowling very much though.

Planning to see it tomorrow, can't believe the series is almost wrapped up. I'm going to need another geeky vice.

A fan made a website called The Harry Potter Lexicon. Even Rowling admitted that she used the site as a reference many times while writing other Harry Potter books and even supplied information and helped correct information on the site. Then she decided that she wanted to release her own book The Harry Potter Lexicon and decided to sue her fan and force him to shutdown his site.

She is a greedy self serving ***** that needs her *** seriously kicked.

If you're a Harry Potter fan, the Harry Potter section on Universal Studios in Orlando is magical.

btw, a co-worker went to the midnight showing last night only to find out she had 12pm tickets! She's leaving half a day. lol

Is there anyone you don't have it out for?

The website creators wanted to publish a book, not just have info on a website.

"[The judge] said he ruled in Ms Rowling's favour because the "Lexicon appropriates too much of Rowling's creative work for its purposes as a reference guide."

Essentially, you can't take 80% of a Harry Potter book and publish it under your own name and expect not to get sued for copyright infringement.

The site is still up and functional: http://www.hp-lexicon.info/index.html

My kids want to go there really bad.

I do too, but more to meet a half sister I didn't even know I had until 2 years ago. She lives not far from Orlando.

So far it is my favorite HP movie. I'll need to see it a few more times before I put it to # 1.

Very fast paced. Dark.

I was very disappointed with the Universal Studios Wizarding World of Harry Potter. It's all facade. Looks good on the outside but not a lot of substance really.

My experience may have been tainted by the timing of my visit though. I went during the opening week and the lines were horrendous. I'm not sure how much it has died down since then. But 45 min. lines just to get into one of the stupid shops and 30 min. lines to buy some butterbeer was ridiculous. Then of course if you're too tall you can't ride the only rides worth riding.

I liked the movie last night. I'm sure some will find it slow, but it is, as far as I can remember, the best adaptation of the series so far. There are a few things they kind of skip over (The use of Voldemort's name) and there were obviously a few scenes they filmed and cut out, and they could have probably trimmed up a few areas, but nothing too major. This movie is mostly about the world Harry and friends are now in, and how much of a struggle they have to contend with and it's affects on them. The acting is noticeably improved and it really helps bring home the gravity of the situation. It's a very solid setup to the finale.

Now that you're included on my list. No. ;)

Don't worry, Meat.

It's really not that bad.

Kind of like a fly you can't shoo out of the car.
