CowboysZone ULTIMATE Fan
Pearson & Harris' respective HOF cases were the most well known from the Cowboys of the '70s, but the late Harvey Martin was so good, but now so forgotten his own franchise has not enshrined him.

Martin is not going to be in the HOF until the Cowboys put him in their Ring of Honor. And Jimmy Johnson is in the HOF but not in Dallas's Ring of Honor. WTH Jerry? Why don't you have someone handling this department being you're too busy?! o_O

Its such BS and a testament to Jerry's lack of respect and ignorance of the history of the Cowboys. Jerry doesn't care about Cowboy fans. He cares about big corporations that buy loads of PSLs and luxury suites.

In Super Bowl 27, Harvey Martin and Randy White dominated the Denver Broncos so thoroughly, that their starting quarterback, Craig Morton, recorded a zero passer rating.

Super Bowl 12, but you picked another good one anyway. And they did score 27 points.

I think I'm the only fan who doesn't give a rats arse who makes the Ring of Honor or who doesn't.

Exactly, I thought the same thing watching the video. If Brady or Rogers were the QB today, 3/4ths of the snaps would have been penalties.
Back then a pass rusher could knock the lineman’s head off lol
On the sack that would be hands to the face today
You had to be a tough SOB to play then and earlier because it was a very violent game in the days
Today you have much more elite athletes
If todays players with their size and speed, played under those rules you’d need a 60 man active roster to finish a game

I really miss the Cardinals in our division. That was a solid Stl team. We always had some troubles with Hart and his offense .

I remember he used to hang out at the Stoneleigh P looking to shoot pool. We played him many times. Really nice guy...

They were so disruptive, that the score was way closer than the game. The only thing keeping the Broncos in that SB was their defense in the first half. By just looking at their offense, you'd have no idea how Denver got to the SB. They looked that bad. They were turning the ball over on every possession.

How did Denver win 12 games that season? Defense? I remember them looking pretty decent on offense in the playoffs. Martin and White just destroyed them.
