Has a Rookie ever been this dynamic in NFL history?

I know Dak ended up in an unreal situation, however as we have seen he wins convincingly even with a lot of key players out. Dak inherited a 4-12 team and has played half the games without Dez and Tyron Smith LT was out 2 games. This offense never missed a beat.

Record after record is falling and according to some the Cowboys haven't even peaked yet. 12 TDs, 2 INT, passer rating among the elite in the NFL... And again, HE IS JUST GETTING STARTED!

We have a Tom Brady on our hands with even more upside. Dak is the lifeblood of this team. It is time for everyone, even his detractors, to embrace what we have been given which was given to us by pure luck. We are on the verge of one of the greatest dynasties in sports history. Enjoy the ride!

Russell Wilson
RG-Knee
Ben Rothlisberger

All in the last five years. If you want to go back farther than that, you could say:

Dan Marino
Eric Dickerson
Randy moss
Gale Sayers
Jim Brown
Earl Campbell
Barry Sanders

I'm sure there are others that I am omitting. That is just off the top of my head.

In my opinion, Dak is not what I would call a "dynamic" player he is instead, incredibly efficient and then excellent decision maker. To me, a dynamic player is one that transcends the sport. One that makes things change on his own. Prescott does not do this. What he does, he does incredibly well. I just wouldn't call it dynamic. Truth be told, a dynamic player is someone like Bob Hayes, who by his offensive talents changed the way defenses had to play.

That's dynamic.

You make perfect sense. However, and Ive said this on here MANY times, you have individuals enamored with losing and failure... You also have fans who like individual above team. A lot of the fans who attempt to discredit me fall into one of these categories.

Nearly every one of my posts are factual and honest. I do truly want what is best for Cowboys going forward as I am a fan now. Some folks just don't like accepting the truth regarding certain aspects of the team.

Oh, the irony...

I would rank Dak as the most impactful Cowboy rookie in their team history. Just consider the fact that he's keeping a multi-year all-pro on the bench right now. Wow. Says a ton.

One thing for sure: challenges will arise. He will quite possibly have games where he looks like he did in the first 3/4 of the Eagles game.

But if he continues to maintain the same character and work ethic, I like his chances to be one of the great ones.

That multi-year all pro couldn't play right now as he's not healthy. Hence Zak isn't keeping him on the bench. If Zak wasn't there, Butt Fumble would be starting. Not Romo.

Did your 'D' key move or is this two instances of auto-correct? :D

Yeah when I think dynamic, I think Mike Vick. The stuff he did in 2002 was legendary but unlike Prescott, Vick was no rookie when he took the league by storm.

how about dynamic in games won, games won in a row.
Thats what is important.
I would rather have dak, than some guy who runs fast and scores some td's and we lose or are.500 team
The type dynamic refered to above is fun to watch, and helps win some games, but doesnt achieve the primary goal.

Tony Dorsett, Emmitt Smith both didn't start immediately but both had impact during their rookie year.

Dirty Dozen of 1975 for a group of rookies.
