Has a superbowl winning team ever fire their head coach?

You think Quinn would do a better job? He has clock management issues as well, his team quit on him, and blown big leads (one including against the Cowboys).

Yep we want him.
Defensesive coaches won our superbowls in the 70s and 90s.

If Quinn can keep on putting out defensive performances like we have seen...from being last in the NFL 2 years agoro what we are doing now. Keep Quinn, bye big Mike,

Quinn has the same issues that most defensive head coaches have. He allows the offense to get leads but relies on the defense to maintain the lead instead of offenses to put points on board.

Im telling you now. He is not that coach that you see as a dc. As a head coach, he don’t blitz or send pressure. He said in an interview as a head coach that sacks are overrated. His DC was Rahim Morris who looked like a totally different dc when he left the team. Maybe just maybe, he is calling plays like this because that is McCarthy’s philosophy of pressuring offenses and giving the offense more possessions.

Marty Schottenheimer got fired after going 14-2 with the Chargers, though they didn’t win the Super Bowl. In fact, they lost their first playoff game. But still, fired after 14-2?
Marty had lots of regular season success but not so much in the playoffs.

Currious because if we win the superbowl this year because of Quinn's defense. Well I would say good bye ro Big Mike and make Quinn the HC.
Mike has been stellar as HC.
