Has a team ever started 1-3 and won the Super Bowl?

Just curious. I know 0-2 has happened. What about 1-3?

Bro that is one of our problems as a team and as a fan base we are talking and predicting the Superbowl. One step at a time first Wade , The human gate Lenard Davis, Allen and a nickle line baker need to be addressed so we can first get to 500. then win our division then win playoff games then maybe if we are lucky and disciplined enough get to the Superbowl

The last thing this team needs is another baker. They've been fed the cupcakes enough by Wade. :)

Yes, the 2001 Patriots.

The 1980 Raiders started 2-3.

HOS I know this maybe be a hard thing to remember but in 1980 did the Raiders or Patriots talk about getting to the Superbowl those years. I ask because even though I love the Cowboys I'm not sure they are good enough to be the self proclaimed front runners ( you know what I mean) remember when we beat the 49ers in San Francisco we weren't the front runners we where a hungry team that was scrappy and disciplined

All he did was ask a question. As a fan we can do what we want. These players need to take it one game at a time but if a fan wants to be optimistic about this team? Let him. It doesn't hurt ANYONE.

The Patriots did that season because Tom Brady replaced Bledsoe and they got hotter than a 2 dollar pistol.

In those days the Raiders were always a Super Bowl contender who had a lot of swagger.

In other words, yes.

If it came off that way I apologies.

Fans talking superbowl have no bearing on the team, you dont see our players out there talking about making it to the bowl do you?

Question HOS you may have answered this question in another thread so sorry if I ask a question you may have answered already but was the play D on Sunday an illusion or the signs of a bigger problem.

If we cant beat the Bears or Titans at home, we dam sure aint winning the freaking SuperBowl.

We will be dam lucky to make it back to .500 with this o-line.

Really the problem is twofold, penalties and turnovers. It deflates an entire team. These are fixable, but it takes momentum.

The Pats in 2001, though they caught lightning in a bottle when Bledsoe got hurt and Brady came out of nowhere to be an All-Pro QB. We arent going to get that kind of a boost.

They also had Belicheck

Out of what?

The run for the SB. There aren't any coaches in this organization that compare to Belichk, and Jerry Jones is no Scott Pioli (wasn't he their Director of pro-Personnel at the time?)...

Oh.

Yawn.

Lets say we lose to the Vikes (not that far fetched, I know), has a 1-4 team ever made it to the SuperBowl??

I honestly cant think of any 1-4 teams that have even made the playoffs recently.
